This Root Beer and Cream rigid draws a crowd wherever it goes. Everyone thinks they know what it is; I‘ve heard everything. Some think it is a restyled Fatboy, a restored early 50’s bike or even a kit bike. Well it is a one of a kind full custom with key elements that make it appear to be from an earlier time.
This bike, in its short existence has wowed those that really count. Taking Best of Show at the Harley-Davidson Ride in Show Sturgis 2007, Willie G. Davidson really loves this bike. He and his right hand man, Louie Netz (Director of Styling, H-D) spent a couple of hours checking out the details of this machine. It has been photographed for a feature in Heavy Duty Magazine, an Australian publication. Also photographed in the studio by the great Michael Lichter for a full feature in the December 2008 issue of Easyriders.
So what is it? It’s a: dual rear head, dual carb, billet cylinder 93 inch, six speed Panhead. Not just a show bike, I have put a little over a thousand miles on it and it has performed flawlessly. It starts instantly, idles as it should and pulls like a mule. The engine is a one off work of art. A full polished Accurate Engineering Panhead with a twist! It has two rear cylinder heads that top the one of a kind billet cylinders. The heads are equipped with roller rocker arms and custom finned billet pan covers. The engine is fed through polished stainless steel intakes that are fit with polished 42mm Mikuni carbs. This awesome power plant is coupled to the trans by a 2” belt drive housed in an early tin primary. The trans is a bullet proof Baker Torque Box 6 speed, the most precise shifting transmission I have ever had in an American v-twin. The ride quality is astounding, with the air-ride seat and the Progressive equipped front forks. That coupled with Continental Milestone tires this thing handles and rides better than my bagger. When it comes to stopping, the Lyndall Racing Brakes ceramic rotors with HHI 4 piston calipers really get the job done. Please take a look, no corners were cut and only the best product coupled with a myriad of handmade one off parts were used in this build; you would be hard pressed to find a nicer, RIDEABLE motorcycle anywhere.
The bike has a clear title, with a 17 digit VIN. It is titled as a Lonestar Choppers, Inc. motorcycle. Lonestar Choppers, Inc. is a licensed motorcycle manufacture. We build world class, award winning one off motorcycles.
